In the high-rise on Kotelnicheskaya the restaurant “Musly” opened, which does not revolve around bran and cereals, as one might think. Muesli here are present in just one dish and placed in the headline as a symbol of home breakfasts. Alexander Ilyin tried and made sure that the house is not cooked.
In “Myslyakh” now two floors and about 80 seats, another small hall is being built on the minus first floor, close to the kitchen, – there it is planned to equip the chef’s table for 10-12 people. In addition, they promise to do in the future something like a spikizi.
Vlad Andreev was the designer of the new restaurant – the author of such different interiors as the bourgeois Mandarin Combustible, the restrained “Latuk” and passing along the very border of kitsch “Beefsteak”. In “Myslyakh” he performs in neoclassical style, without any liberties – because in Stalin’s skyscrapers every door handle is under the protection of UNESCO, and even with the inherent symmetry of the project, you do not fight.
Previous tenants sewed all the local beauties in plasterboard; When it was dismantled, found a marble, albeit somewhat destroyed, cladding of walls and an empire ceiling painting – according to the project there was to be a Vegetables-Fruit store. Marble and painting restored, which occupied the most part of the year allocated for the preparation of the project. The chandeliers made in France were hung in strictly designated places, along a blind wall on the second floor a dark wood rack with glazed narrow doors was placed. The tables on different floors are arranged differently: on the first one form cozy corners on the company, on the second stand freely. Both there and there is covered with chic, with Czech crystal: probably, Muesli is the only restaurant in the city where it does not look like an inappropriate stylization. Guests at first are frightened of such luxury, but, having made out the menu, come to their senses.
